Photo Friday 6/2 - Glamour

Cliveden House, Bucks. Oct 2003
It doesn't get more glamourous than Italianate country houses by the River Thames.

like a setting from a VC andrews novel. Sat 7-Feb-2004 03:10

so am I a fungi? (geddit?)

Old Wardour Castle, Wiltshire. Autumn 2003.
Accept my apologies for the title. I find myself drawn to puns like this much to the dismay of my family and friends, and now I get to inflict them on the internet at large. Lucky internet.

As for the picture we we're visiting Old Wardour Castle in Wiltshire last Autumn when my wife spotted something unusual in the grass from one of the towers. Closer inspection revealed a crop of mushrooms and an ideal opportunity for a close up.

Does anybody know what species they were?

No i do not know the spices But nice macro Wed 4-Feb-2004 12:50
